Chrome – AdBlock Extension – very effective ad block plugin for Chrome, blocks out all web ads but gives you customization options and manual filters. This allows you to to exclude specific domains from the blocklist allowing you to support content publishers you visit frequently (like us!), or just block ads from the most annoying ad servers. Adblock Plus is an open source project, which is also available for Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and for Android. Adblock Plus for Google Chrome blocks annoying ads both on Windows and Mac OS X. A few years back, we introduced the Acceptable Ads initiative. Close all pop-ups using the red “X” button in the top right corner. DO NOT click on any of the buttons within the pop-up window. Do not open unsolicited email attachments or download software from untrustworthy websites or peer-to-peer file transfer networks. Keep your browsers, operating system, and plugins up-to-date.
